Constructivism and Emotivism in socioniks
The sign constructivism/emotivism in socionics is formed by multiplying the features of logic/ethics and rationality/irrationality. So constructivists are irrational logicians and rational ethics, and emotivists are rational logicians and irrational ethics. Emotivists quickly catch the emotional background of any situation, and constructivists - the semantic background.
 
Constructivists are less critical of emotions, "loaded" by them. Once in a certain emotional state, they can not get out of it for a long time, so they try to avoid information that is emotionally unacceptable or unpleasant. For example, they try not to watch movies if they know that they are emotionally heavy.  Since constructivists emotions remain in memory for a long time, such people are vindictive and vindictive. Positive emotions they also remember well and often return to them in memories.
 
Constructivists pay more attention directly to the cause, rather than to the establishment of relations.  In a difficult situation, first of all, they will offer help, and then they will sympathize. Therefore, other people are also expected not to have emotions, but real help.

Emotivists are people for whom the emotional background of any situation is primary. They react sensitively to external stimuli, they are induced by a variety of trifles, and the expectation of a pleasant event gives more emotions than the event itself.
Moreover, if at the moment of awareness of some fact the emotivist reacts very emotionally, then after some time his emotions fade, and only memories remain. Emotivists can calmly talk about the severe emotional upheavals they have faced in the past, since the emotivist who has experienced the emotion no longer dwells on it.
 
Emotivists pay more attention to establishing and maintaining contact with the interlocutor. They first consider it necessary to establish contact with a smile or words, and then move on to business.

"Emotivism" and "constructivism" should not be confused with basic logic/ethics. Emotivists along with constructivists are able to think logically and constructively and reason.  Here we are talking about priorities in obtaining information.  Emotivists differ from constructivists in that they prefer emotional and sensual information.
Understanding the feelings and inner world of people does not depend on the sign of "emotivism". But what importance is attached to this depends.
 
It is not easy to determine this sign, but if you see a person whose mimicry changes constantly, and his face looks very "alive", then it is very likely that this is an emotivist. If a person's face resembles a fixed mask, then most likely it is a constructivist, although many are well able to control their emotions in an official setting.
