People of the social personality type, according to John Holland's classification, are true altruists and communicators. They are eager to interact with others, have developed verbal abilities, and often choose professions related to helping people and social activities.

Holland's Social Personality Type

The social type of personality is humanistic, idealistic, and ethical. These people are cooperative, attuned to others, and have an understanding of those around them. They are tactful, emotionally warm, friendly, cheerful and optimistic. In the MBTI typology , which has more gradations, several psychotypes correspond to this type: ESFJ, ESFP, and to a lesser extent ISFP, ISFJ.
