Decisive and reasonable personality types

решительные и рассудительные в соционике

According to the degree of readiness to solve their problems, socionics divides people into Decisive and Reasonable.

Decisive types (representatives of the second and third quadra)are always in a state of mobilization: it is very difficult for them to relax and rest, they are always ready to act quickly and consider the moment of decision-making to be the most important stage of any business.

The longer the implementation is delayed, the less likely it is that the decisive will do anything. At the end of the case, it can be difficult for them to relax without the participation of other people or additional incentives, for example, a party on the occasion of the end of the case.

They appreciate the result in their work and can sacrifice convenience and comfort for this. Acting on the principle of "there is nothing to reason about, it is necessary to act!", The resolute usually win in the speed of work.

But this approach has negative sides: firstly, the probability of making the wrong decision increases, and secondly, very often the activity of the decisive acquires the features of vanity. It seems to them that acting is much more important than talking about priorities. As a result, it turns out that people spend a lot of time on work that not only does not lead to the achievement of goals, but also does not allow them to lead a balanced life. Since the resolute do not tolerate uncertainty, they think quite categorically.

Thus, it is characteristic of the resolute to quickly make decisions and implement them, to live and act in a tense environment, to be prepared for additional difficulties and overcome them.

Judicious types (first and fourth quadras),on the contrary, cannot live under stress. For them, the normal state is relaxation, and the most important stage of any business, they consider the process of its reflection and discussion. Often the discussion ends and to action it does not reach: "not everything is known yet, it is too early to do something."

But if they do get down to business, the decision is more balanced. And let it take more time than the decisive, but there is a greater chance that the decision will be quite thoughtful. As in the saying, "Measure seven times, cut one."

Reasonable types value good working conditions, they may refuse to do anything at all if they are not comfortable enough for them.  They are not as categorical as decisive. The concepts of "good / bad" are very blurred: after all, if you think about it, you can always find some intermediate options.

To sum up: it is more common for the prudent to speak than to do, to make informed decisions, to adapt to the environment, to avoid unnecessary activity and to fully relax.
