The anime "Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You" (Japanese: Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari) is a Japanese romantic anime series based on the manga of the same name by the author Jinushi. The series premiered in June 2026. It is produced by studio Asahi Production. The anime follows a 45-year-old office worker named Sasaki, whose gray life consists of endless workdays. His only escape becomes the supermarket, where he is greeted by a sweet cashier named Yamada. However, one day he doesn't find her there and goes out behind the store to smoke, where he meets a mysterious woman in a leather jacket named Tayama. Sasaki has no idea that his new brash companion and that same smiling cashier are the same person.
