Anime Sakamoto Days  is a Japanese action-comedy, an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yuto Suzuki, serialized since November 2020 in Weekly Shōnen Jump. The story follows former legendary hitman Taro Sakamoto, who left the underworld behind for a quiet family life: he got married, became a father, opened a shop, and gained weight. However, the past does not let go — enemies find him again, and Sakamoto is forced back into action, not resorting to killing but using his deadly skills and wit to protect his loved ones.

The anime was released in two parts: the first began on January 11, 2025, and the second on July 14, 2025, totaling 22 episodes split into 11 episodes each.

The series became an international hit, and during Anime Expo 2025 the production team announced that the continuation will feature even more dynamic visuals and new characters, promising intensified action and vivid emotions.
