Cognitive function 'Introverted Thinking'

Introverted Thinking (Ti) in MBTI is a thinking function based on the collection of information that forms an idea of how everything works.
It is based on endless curiosity.
Where Extroverted Thinking (Te) is largely focused on controlling the outside world, Introverted Thinking (Ti) analyzes and systematizes knowledge within.

Ti are so confident in their ability to understand everything that they almost do not need external help and clues. And because their autonomy is so important to who they are, they are very careful about their time and freedom and resist threats to their autonomy. Therefore, people with a strong Introverted mindset are not very good team players.
In their quest to understand the world around them, introverted thinking sometimes goes too far. They may find it difficult to communicate with the people around them, and their questions and challenges can lead to confusion. They don't want to rush into a decision without thinking it through, and that can take time.
Others may perceive a person with an introverted mindset as lazy because they are too busy analyzing the best way to accomplish a task rather than doing it.
