The Walking Dead is a popular American television series that premiered in 2010 and had a total of 11 seasons. Based on the Robert Kirkman comic book series of the same name, the television series is about a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. The series is known for its grim, realistic portrayal of life in a world without modern conveniences, as well as the complex characters who have to cope with the physical and psychological challenges of living in such a dangerous environment.
