Keirsey Temperament Sorter

Keirsey Temperament Sorter (KTS) is a self—assessment questionnaire designed to help people better understand themselves and others. He was first introduced in the book Please Understand Me. This is one of the most widely used personality assessments in the world. KTS is closely related to MBTI, however, there are significant practical and theoretical differences between the two personality questionnaires and the various descriptions associated with them. Myers primarily relies on how people think and feel; Keirsey focuses more on temperament and behavior that can be directly observed
Keirsey expanded the ancient study of temperament by Hippocrates and Plato. In his works, Keirsey used the names suggested by Plato: Artisan, Guardian, Idealist and Rational. Keirsey divided each of the four temperaments into two categories (roles), each with two types (role variants)
