Trigan is a popular manga created by Yasuhiro Naitou.  The anime Trigan was produced by Madhouse and aired in Japan from April to September 1998. The series consists of 26 episodes and tells about Vash the Hurricane, who travels through a desert planet called Gunsmoke, gets into various adventures and meets many colorful characters. Along the way, he is pursued by two insurance agents, Meryl Strife and Millie Thompson, who are tasked with tracking the damage that Vash inadvertently causes while doing his own business.
Over the years, Trigan has gained a large number of loyal fans thanks to a unique combination of action, humor and philosophy. The series has been praised for its complex characters, thoughtful themes and stunning visual style. And at the beginning of 2023, a new anime adaptation Trigun: Stampede was released.
