Personality types of 'Fruits Basket' characters
Fruits Basket (sometimes abbreviated Furuba) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. The name comes from the name of a popular Japanese game played in elementary schools.
Fruit Basket tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who accidentally finds out that members of the Soma family are cursed and turn into animals from the Chinese zodiac when they are stressed or in the arms of any member of the opposite sex who is not possessed by the zodiac spirit.
An anime series of the same name was filmed based on the manga, and in 2022 a full-length anime film Fruits Basket: Prelude was released.
