Personality types of 'Weak Hero' characters

The series Weak Hero (Korean: 약한영웅) is a South Korean school drama and action show based on the popular webtoon by Seopass and Kim Jin-seok. The story follows high school student Yeon Si-eun, a quiet and seemingly fragile boy who becomes the target of bullies. Despite his physical weakness, he uses intelligence, observation, and strategy to fight back against aggressors. His life changes when he befriends former boxer Ahn Su-ho and the introverted Oh Beom-seok, and together they face the harsh realities of school violence, friendship, and betrayal.

The first season, titled Weak Hero Class 1, was released in November 2022 and received positive reviews for its realistic depiction of bullying and tense atmosphere. In April 2025, the second season, Weak Hero Class 2, premiered on Netflix, continuing the story and expanding the cast of characters. The project is expected to see further development thanks to its growing popularity and audience demand.
